Graitudes

Yesterday was the perfect way to spend a lazy Sunday – good times with good friends and 4 babies that weren’t here at Christmas :)  It was the perfect end to the week!

This week, I am grateful for:
-meeting that beautiful little Ellis girl.  The third Muskateer is here and she is absolutely wonderful.  She has fingers and toes for days and hair that has both my girls green with envy.  She is just under 7lbs and it’s funny – I can’t remember the girls being that small, especially another TWO pounds smaller than that.  Time has flown way too fast.  My babeez look like real little girls next to all her newborn goodness.
-that Mama and Papa Ellis are doing so well.  They look so good, and they seem happy and relaxed.  Keep up the good work guys!!
-a visit from Melissa and her boys.  We don’t see each other nearly enough and I have seen her FOUR times since the girls were born!
-for cinnamon buns and No Name brand pop tarts, which start my day of with a sugary BANG
-for 3 replies to my Kijiji ad.  Here’s hoping for a few more because I REALLY need the $$.
-the squeals that Kit-Kat has discovered.  I’m not sure if it is a gratitude at 3am, but it sure is neat!  And they have both discovered their toes this week and are turning into little gymnasts
-that I did actually get my butt moving and clean the house on Saturday.  Leith never did wash my floors though… and I still need to dust and clean off the kitchen table of all my clutter.
-for finding $126 in my savings account, which means I can take the advanced photography class this fall!  Woo hoo!  Now I just need to discover another $75 before October…

I’m off to work at 1pm today.  I think I am going to try to go for a run after.  I haven’t run since LAST Friday!  Boo to that.  So much for running the ING 10k this August.  Next week I am going to move my 5k runs from 4:1s to 10:1s.  It’s time.
Tomorrow is a big sit-at-home day.  I am taking Constance back to the dealership for her “delivery cleaning”, so I will be carless all day.  I’m planning on working on (finishing…?) my final photography project and studying for my final.  The final is all about Photoshop processes, which I barely use, so I am much more worried about this exam than I was about the midterm.
Have a good Monday :)
